• The Smart Grid Interface Module (SGIM) is used for 3-phase monitoring of up to 14 low-voltage connections

The requirements for energy distribution are changing rapidly and comprehensively in terms of utilisation, functionality and structures. To ensure reliable operation, supply network operators, industrial companies and facility management increasingly require up-to-date measured values and information about the load on their distribution networks. This information needs to be provided almost in real time in order to be able to take appropriate control measures, particularly in hot spots such as local grid stations.

The smartisation of energy distribution grids requires practical solutions for the systematic measurement of energy values: simple and uninterrupted installation in existing systems, flexibility with regard to the number of measuring points and handling without the need for extensive training. With the Smart Grid Interface Module Comfort, EFEN offers a modular system for recording electrical and other physical measured variables in distribution cabinets and cable distributors.

Individually configurable

Thanks to its compact design, the SGIM Comfort fits into the spare slot in the cable distribution cabinet and offers a wide range of possible applications. With just one device, you can carry out 3-phase monitoring of up to 14 low-voltage connections. Upgrades with measuring and communication modules complete the modular system.

Simple installation

Uninterruptible ‘plug & play’ installation under voltage on a 185 mm busbar system. In conjunction with the Rogowski coils, you have a quick and easy way to integrate the complete current measurement into your existing system at a later date – freely configurable according to your requirements. We recommend our pre-assembled E³ NH fuse-switches with integrated current transformers for a new installation.

Integrated safety

The integrated CAT IV overvoltage protection safeguards your devices. You can also rely on the protection of an integrated firewall, so that your network analysis data is protected against attacks and secured in accordance with modern transmission protocols.
